Jerome McCroy "Jay Mac" is an artist from the Ridgewood section of Queens, New York. Jerome's artistic journey has involved a diverse range of influences, from hip hop, NY sports, graffiti, and the sprawling urban landscape. His evolution from pencils and inks on paper, to spray paint on canvas, sneaker customization, and wooden custom wall cutouts with resin finishes reflect a dynamic exploration of different artistic mediums.
The pursuit of enjoyment and inspiration reached a crescendo during the pandemic, when Jerome began documenting his creative process through use of social media. Jerome had used hand tools such as jig saws and circular saws in some of his works from 2015, but his newfound knowledge led to a breakthrough in his journey.He had been creating solely for enjoyment over the past 15 years, but a desire to leave the corporate retail world fueled his passion to create for a living.

Jerome's work has now been collected by over 1,000 different clients from online purchases, along with bi-annual street fairs and gallery shows in NYC and during Miami Art Basel in 2023. Some of his work has been commissioned by and for professional athletes, musicians, and influencers. Jerome has also generously donated his artwork to several non-profits where his pieces were either auctioned or used to recognize participants.

Jerome recently led an installation team in Times Square, NY for Carlo's Bakery, where he project managed fabrication, delivery, and installation of over a dozen props.
In 2024, Jerome has been featured on several new stations showcasing his art to amplify his fandom. Jerome's work has been shown on several sports networks, such as SNY, Yes, local newstations such as CBS NY, News 4 NY, ABC channel 7. Jerome also has been a featured artist with AMNY in both digital and paper circulation on 4/20 and 4/22.
